The School District of Newberry County has partnered with MUSC Hollings Cancer Center to provide vaccinations for students who have not yet met the South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH) immunization requirements.
Beginning August 24, any student who comes to school without the required immunizations or appropriate documentation and has already used their one-time 30-day exemption must be excluded from school until the required documentation is provided, as required by South Carolina law.
Please know that these are not requirements set by Reuben Elementary or the School District of Newberry County. They are state requirements established by the South Carolina Department of Public Health to help protect the health and safety of all students, staff, and our community.
